In loving Memory of Michael R. Tucker

This page is a Memorial to
a very wonderful man who lost his fight with Diabetes
Michael R. Tucker.

Born in Fort Worth, Texas
January 10, 1954.

Left this world January 28, 2002
in his home of Moreno Valley, California.

Mike left behind his very loving wife Teresa Tucker
& many friends who loved him.

I am remembering this man for the wonderful human being he was.
I have never known a sweeter or more caring individual.
He taught me so much about diabetes & how to fight it.
With all the complications from diabetes that he lived with
every day he still was always an optomistic person.
I drew so much strength from this man. I know that many others did too.
So please take a moment of silence & reflection for Mike Tucker. My friend!!!

I'm Free

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took his hand when I heard him call
I turned my back & left it all

I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work, or play
Tasks left undone must stay that way
I found that place at the close of day

If my parting has left a void
Then fill it with remembered joy
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss

Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish you the joy of tomorrow
My life's been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don't lenghen it now with undue grief
Lift up your head & share with me
God wanted me now. He set me free

The Final Flight

I have left my footprints
on this old earth my home,
but now I start my final journey on my own.

As I broke the ties that bound me down,
I heard the trumpets glorious sounds

I gave up this temple my body here
and return wence I came,
spirit borne without fear.

As we part from each other here today,
pray for peace to be the human way.

To the heavens I raise my voice in song,
till next we gather, it won't be long.

Love to all, I sing, I sing,
My spirit is borne on two white wings.
